FAQ: Why all the questions?
A: I want you to have the best birth experience possible, even if this means a referral to another midwife.
FAQ: Why would you refer me to another midwife?
A: So, the birth experience that you desire can best be met. For example: Your birth isn’t beautiful if my car is stuck on a sandy road at 2am and you feel like pushing.
Note: Don’t think of the answers to the form questions as pass or fail for a home birth. Most of these answers are to make sure my team and I will be best prepared for your birth. For example, some team members are allergic to pets, so I would assign a different team member to come along. Some team members may have had similar experiences and can better relate to you.
